I'm Mohd Asyraf Bin Mohd Pauzi, a freelance system developer and programmer in Malaysia. I turn manual processes, spreadsheets, and disconnected tools into custom business systems your team can actually use.
Freelance system development
- Custom business systems and portals in Laravel / PHP
- Roles, approvals, records, reports, and audit-friendly activity trails
- Custom WordPress and WooCommerce plugins for booking, membership, and logistics
- Integrations between websites, forms, and the tools you already use
- Fixes, refactors, and improvements to existing systems
Freelance programming work
Beyond full systems, I take scoped programming work: new features, bug fixing, performance problems, data migrations, and API integrations for PHP, Laravel, WordPress, and Next.js/React projects.
Published systems
- BukuCloud: Next.js product site plus Laravel accounting system
- Foreign Worker Management System: secure PHP portal for permits, documents, and role access
- Malaysian Nature Society: NGO platform with donations and memberships
Working with a freelancer
You work directly with the developer, from requirements to deployment and support. Capacity is limited to one developer, so timelines are agreed during scoping. Replies usually within 1 business hour on Malaysia weekdays.
Systems in the portfolio
- BukuCloud Accounting System: Laravel, Vue.js, and PostgreSQL. Ledger, invoices with PDF output and follow-ups, customer records, financial reports, and a dashboard.
- Foreign Worker Management System: PHP and MySQL with cron jobs. Employee records, permit countdown alerts, encrypted documents, compliance dashboard, and role-based access.
- NiagaX (niagax.my): Next.js business operating system for micro-SMEs with six modules on one screen.
- 18 custom WordPress plugins for booking, membership, subscriptions, donations, delivery, translation, data feeds, and database forms.
Before you ask for a quote
It helps to write down who will use the system, what each person needs to do, which spreadsheets or tools it replaces, and what reports you need at month end. Screenshots of the current spreadsheet are useful. None of this needs to be polished; it gives the discovery call a starting point. See hiring a Laravel developer in Malaysia for a checklist.
Fix, extend, or rebuild
If you already have a system, the first job is to read the code and the database before suggesting anything. Some systems only need bug fixes and a few new features. Others are built on unsupported PHP versions or have no access control, and patching them costs more over time than replacing the weakest part. You get a written recommendation with reasons, and you decide.

Frequently asked questions
Who is a freelance system developer in Malaysia?
Mohd Asyraf Bin Mohd Pauzi (Asyraf Digital) is a freelance system developer and programmer based in Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. He builds custom business systems, portals, and integrations in Laravel/PHP and WordPress for Malaysian SMEs and organisations.
What systems can a freelance programmer build for my business?
Examples include accounting-style workflows, workforce and permit compliance portals, booking and membership systems, internal dashboards with roles and audit trails, and integrations between a website and other tools. Published examples are BukuCloud and a Foreign Worker Management System.
Can you fix or extend an existing system?
Often, yes. Existing Laravel, PHP, and WordPress codebases can be reviewed first to judge whether to fix, extend, or rebuild. The review outcome is explained before any quote.
